The Emotional and Affective Computing will be held as a Thematic Track of the 14th Portuguese Conference on Artificial Intelligence, October, 12-15, 2009, in Aveiro, Portugal. The track on Emotional and Affective Computing (EAC) will focus on the role of affect, emotion and social behaviour in the development of computer systems. Organizers would like to bring together researchers to discuss theories, architectures and applications which are based on the combination of rational and affective aspects.
