Interesting upcoming events

Two (quickly) approaching deadlines:

• Fourth International Workshop on Adversarial Information Retrieval on the Web (AIRWeb). The deadline for papers is 02/March, and it features a Web Spam Challenge (deadline 31/March). Unfortunately, too far currently for me: Beijing, China (22/April) as a workshop of WWW 2008 conference.
• 30th European Conference on Information Retrieval (ECIR), 30/March-3/April at the University of Glasgow. Great, hard conference (I have reviewed papers for this one -- I know it behind the scene; and also I got two papers rejects and no success), deadline passed; just attending (but not for me; no paper, no conference).

I must remind that WWW 2009 will be at Madrid. Do not miss it.
