Spam in Facebook

The spam I am receiving at FB is increasingly boring and disturbing.

What it worse is that one of my contacts was somehow infected, as I received this invitation for six days :-(

IEEE Intelligent Systems on "AI and Opinion Mining"

IEEE Intelligent Systems has just devoted two consecutive issues (May-June 2010 and July-August 2010) of its "Trends and Controversies" column to "AI and Opinion Mining". The material as a whole can be downloaded at:

Noticias recientes de Telefónica

Hay dos noticias (relativamente recientes) que me llaman la atención:

• Telefónica compra Tuenti por 75 millones de euros. Movistar podría estar a punto de cerrar un acuerdo para comprar la red social Tuenti. Según fuentes cercanas a estas negociaciones que ambas firmas están llevando a cabo, el montante de la operación podría ascender a unos 75 millones de euros y podría cerrarse hoy mismo.
• Telefónica transfiere 500 trabajadores de I+D a Ericsson y a Indra. Ericsson e Indra se harán cargo de sistemas de soporte relacionados con los servicios de facturación prepago de Telefónica, y de 500 empleados de Telefónica. El acuerdo implica la prestación del servicio de prepago durante 7 años a más de 20 negocios del grupo Telefónica.

¿Estategia? Externalizar los desarrollos propios (plataformas de pago, ¿y que más?) y comprar los ajenos. Me sorprende y aún no sé si me apena.
